Regarding Accreditation and ISO Certification

Accreditation will be given by NBA only to the course not for the entire college...
you know people how they will get...

they will check infrastructure, facilities, placement, faculties, study environment, course handing way etc.. to give the certificate...

which doesn't means other courses in the college are not up to the mark... the point is

Usually colleges will call those people to get this... to raise the course fees... i will accept.. the will grant only the facility are up to the mark

Very IMPORTANT:  they will say we are NBA accr college... no it is NBA accr courses...

that too the ACCR is given to courses not for the entire life time.. it has life time... 1 , 2, 3 or even 5.. not more than that...
 come to

ISO: the ISO certification is not for the entire college .. it may be for one dept or one aspect of the college..

some colleges will get ISO for documentation ... in advt they will say ISO certified institution... what is the use for the students if documentation got the certificate.

Some may get for process, some for infra and some for placement... etc...

So people ISO is not for the entire college.. the standard is given only to particular aspects that covers the ISO process... many numbers are there.. like 9001, and all... each one has its own characteristics.. and it will be awarded... example 9001... is purely for process and documentation.

From yesterday's counselling scenario, i understood the seat sharing matrix.. where many people opted for ECE..

I want to ask all one question? why all of you people trying to put all eggs in a single basket..

for ECE... the only scope of job is IT field.. where more number of people are recruited..
in Electronics... very few will get selected..
please think if siemens or NSN or tata elxsi.. came to your campus... do they recruit in bulk... absolutely not..

the growth will be slow in these fields.

Take mechanical or even civil.. where the scope will be very high.. nothing will move without mechanical..
the infrastructure will always develop in developing countries like us.

Just saw Kalaignar TV... one idiot is saying ECE has large amount of scope...
that too in IT field... to work with c, c++, java, unix , html, vb, oracle... why have to chose ECE.. where none of these subjects comes there...
i'm sure if 10 people studying ECE means .. may be 1 or 2 will get into core field...

The same idiot is saying .. mech has no scope... this is the first time i saw a guy speaking rubbish about core courses..

After my last post... its up to you people to take it up...

Any clarifications - queries - doubts..... all are welcome...

I ll tell u what i know.. i m not going to tell on my own.. i also will search in website and the contacts i know and i ll give the information..

FYI... i am also not an expert... my intention is - all u people u in a junction with many roads connecting..

the right way has to be UR CHOICE.

Students Please Decide your Destiny by Yourself

Hi Brothers and Sisters,

Days are few to enter in to the world of technology.
My wishes to all.....

Just now saw some channels in my TV.. Many programs are organized for guiding the students for pursuing their studies.

But in this technological arena, i am amazed why people are asking queries to people like this.
the people who are coming are not educational experts. they are representing some colleges and using this as advertisement.

i want you people to decide on our own. Search, Clarify, Analyse... you people definitely will choose the course of your choice.
 One student asking how to approach counselling:
He might tried the phone to get connect to that program for more than 15 min... if he sits in the net in home or any center... he can get the details in 5 minutes and take printout.. sit leisurely and he can able to know things.

Why people are asking somebody.. can i get this course in this college...
then y websites are there like www.annauniv.edu and collegesintamilnadu.

search go through... then u can realise where u are and u can decide.

when i was a student.. i decide to go to ECE and i worked in net for hours..
later i scrutinize the colleges. only three i chose then went to counselling and clicked those three only and got one in that. i am saying it is 2004.. where no broadband and 3G stuffs are not there..

why you people cant do that.

Another common question is scope.. u cant get a clear picture of the scope of a particular course from people who are running educational institutions .. the right people are those working in the industry.
whatever u study the IT garbage lorry will pick you.. again u people have to decide to go with core or with higher education..

 Its my kind request... so people try to decide on yourself... you people never know what ECE or MECH or blab blab... to offer and also the contents in it... think people and decide based on your strengths and abilities.


It is very disappointing, that u students are without any forecast thinking and lateral thinking..


So people search... identify... explore... experience.. analyse.... choose... settle.. join and go ahead...

Any doubts regarding the counselling and about the cut-off.. u people can very well ask...

Application Submission

While submitting the application.. check the filled in details once or twice before..
the community certificates must to be in the format prescribed .. the dates and the number...

Information About colleges

In Tamilnadu, the Engineering colleges are classified into Dote1 and Dote2.

Dote1 colleges are the government and government aided colleges and the university department colleges belong  to respective anna university at various places.

Dote 2 are the self-financing colleges. while the top private colleges in the chennai will have the higher cut-off.
the thing the students have to see will be the infra-structure( lab facilities, faculties, placement)...

the fee structure stated in the booklet is the tuition fees alone. there will be  many hidden fees will be there..
